Accessibility statement
Statement prepared November 15, 2026.
We want every student to be able to use Rekku, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
What this statement covers
This statement covers the website rekku.net, the Rekku web app at app.rekku.net and the Rekku apps for iOS and Android.
How accessible Rekku is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the level the European standard EN 301 549 requires. Rekku partly meets it: the issues below don't meet it yet, and we're fixing them.
What isn't accessible yet
- Some small text and links in our green accent color don't have enough contrast against the background (WCAG 1.4.3). We're moving small text to a darker shade.
- Some gray text on the website is too light to read easily (WCAG 1.4.3).
- The demos on the website's home page play by themselves and don't yet have a pause button (WCAG 2.2.2). They stop when you click, tap or type in them.
- The website has no link to skip straight to the main content (WCAG 2.4.1).
- We haven't yet tested the mobile apps fully with VoiceOver and TalkBack.
How we made this statement
We assessed Rekku ourselves, with automated checks and by hand, in November 2026. We review this statement whenever Rekku changes significantly and at least once a year.

Enforcement
