Rekku, the AI study tool that gets you to exam dayYour exam has a date. Now it has a plan.

Snap the pages that are on the test. Rekku plans every session until exam day, checks that each one stuck, and rewrites the plan when your week changes.

That phone runs the app's exam flow. Watch it, or tap it and try it yourself.

Checkpoint tests

Every day has a job, and a test at the end.

Open Rekku and today's session is waiting: read these pages, do this set, explain this idea. Then a checkpoint test, eight questions on today's topic. Get six right and the day is done. Not before.

Try it on the phone: tick off the steps, then answer the last three questions yourself.

  • The checkpoint stays locked until the steps are done.
  • Short answers are marked by Rekku, so guessing won't get you through.
  • Miss the mark and you see exactly what tripped you up.

Study plan

Your week changes. The plan changes with it.

A checkpoint goes badly. Football runs late. You skip a day. A study plan on paper falls apart right there. Rekku rebuilds your study plan around it, so everything is still covered by exam day, and your phone calendar moves too.

Recall

Understand it, don't just memorize it.

Flashcards teach you the words. Recall teaches you the ideas behind them. Rekku asks you to explain a concept in your own words, then tells you what you got right and what else matters. Go on, answer it.

Recall · Why the Cold War began

In your own words: why didn't the USA and the USSR trust each other after 1945?

In the app, Rekku reads your whole answer. This demo looks for the key ideas.

Rekku chat

It has read your textbook. Ask it anything.

Every exam has its own Rekku chat that remembers the whole conversation. It answers from your material and shows the page it came from. Ask it to fix a card or add a term and it does it, with an Undo if you change your mind. Type a question on the phone.

Questions about Rekku

What is Rekku?

Rekku is an AI study tool for students. Add your exam date and photos of the pages that are on the test, and Rekku plans a study session for every day until the exam. Each session ends with a checkpoint test, Rekku makes flashcards from your material, and the day before the exam there's a mock exam built from it.

How is Rekku different from a flashcard app?

A flashcard app gives you cards and leaves the rest to you. Rekku also tells you what to study each day, checks with a checkpoint test that it stuck, rebuilds your study plan when you miss a day, and writes a new mock exam every time you take one. The flashcards are there too, with five ways to study them.

Is Rekku a study planner?

Yes. When you add an exam, Rekku builds a day-by-day study plan up to the exam date, with sessions as long as you want at the time you choose. Tell it you have football on Wednesdays and it moves the sessions; miss a day and it replans. On the phone, the sessions can go into your calendar too.

Can Rekku make flashcards from my notes?

Yes. Rekku is an AI flashcard maker too: take photos of your notes or textbook pages and Rekku reads them and makes flashcard sets from them. You can also type your own cards. Every set comes with Flip cards, Practice, Match, Speed round and Test.

Can Rekku make practice tests and quizzes from my notes?

Yes, two kinds. Test turns any flashcard set into a quiz with multiple choice, written, true or false and matching questions. The mock exam is built from all of your exam material, with new questions every time, and your written answers are marked with points and feedback.

Is Rekku free?

Rekku will be free to start when it launches. We'll share the plans and prices then. Join the waitlist to hear first.

Does Rekku just give me the answers?

No. Rekku is built to help you learn it yourself. Checkpoint tests mark your short answers, so guessing won't get you through. Recall asks you to explain ideas in your own words. And Rekku chat answers from your own material and shows the page each answer came from.

Which devices does Rekku work on?

iPhone, Android and any web browser at app.rekku.net, so there's nothing to install on a computer. Sign in anywhere and your exams, sets and today's session are all there. The phone app can also download sets so you can study without a connection.

Who is Rekku for?

Students aged 13 and older studying for an exam or a test in any subject, from history and biology to languages and math. Rekku is in English and Finnish.

Your next exam is coming anyway.

Starter is free: 3 flashcard sets a month and unlimited practice tests. Scholar adds unlimited sets, hosted games and AI sets from your photos.
